We will be heading to Toowoomba this coming weekend to headline the Food & Wine Festival, as part of the annual Festival Of Flowers. Our concert is on SATURDAY 9 SEPTEMBER at QUEENS PARK, TOOWOOMBA, right in the centre of town. The food and wine celebration begins at 11AM while the first performers hit the stage around 5PM. Our good friend, JIMMY BARNES, is having some urgent surgery for a debilitating back problem and he has had to cancel all his upcoming shows while he recovers. He’s asked us to be his last-minute stand-in for a few shows that had already gone on sale in late Jan./early Feb. and we are more than happy to do because
1. Jimmy’s a mate,
2. we haven’t played any gigs in WOLLONGONG, TORQUAY or the YARRA VALLEY for ages so that is long overdue, and
3. these shows have killer line-ups already so why wouldn’t we want to join in the fun? These are going to be fantastic concerts.
